Program in Animation Filmmaking
An intensive one-year program that blends animation, cinematography, character design, modeling, texturing, lighting and 3D animation.
DAFM is the ideal starting point for beginners. In one year you cover the fundamentals of animation, film aesthetics, 3D modeling and texturing, lighting, animation, editing and basic visual effects, finishing with a short animated film of your own.
Learn the complete animation pipeline - modeling, texturing, rigging, character animation, lighting and rendering - the way studios actually work. From a 12-month foundation to a two-year advanced program, there is a path for every ambition.
Hands-on training on industry-standard tools. Software list is as per the current MAAC curriculum and may be updated.
After completing DAFM you can work as:
10+2 in any stream. Students currently in 12th can join as well.
